In 2015, ESN joined the initiative launched by the European University Foundation (EUF), called the Online Learning Agreement, which would develop a tool for students and universities to create and sign an e-learning agreement. In May 2017, OLA was created as a proof of concept for universities to try and support. EUF followed with another project, OLA+, which worked on adding new features to the platform, such as. B apprenticeship agreements for traineeships and the measurement of user satisfaction. As far as student mobility for studies is concerned, the Learning Agreement includes study abroad and courses that will be replaced in your home studies if the studies abroad are successfully completed. Indeed, the interlocutors are not clearly defined, the information necessary for the implementation of the agreements is rarely available online and the possibility for students to modify their learning agreement after their arrival in the host institutions is 75%. In the same survey, some LLP national agencies proposed to create an online tool to prepare, approve and review learning agreements in an online environment, and this is what this project intends to do. Learning agreements for studies developed for this semester as well as learning agreements for internships are now available through the former OLA platform. In a study conducted in late 2019 – early 2020, more than 90% of students said they would recommend OLA to their colleagues. In addition, 93% of IROs believe that all learning agreements should be put online via an easy-to-use tool. The aim of the project is to enable students to prepare their learning agreements in an online system allowing them to get in touch with the coordinators of the host and sending higher education institutions in order to finalise, approve and sign the document online. This process therefore transfers a paper-based workflow, which depends on the timely delivery of mail for signature purposes, to an online system that allows students to save a lot of time in preparing for their studies abroad and achieve a higher degree of flexibility and efficiency in revising the learning agreement. The online software will also enable higher education institutions to integrate learning agreement management procedures to make the approval and management process more efficient, giving staff time to work on other international relationships or improve the quality of credit mobility. . .
